L’Excelsior - a 100 years old brasserie

L’Excelsior Description

From small café it transformed into beautiful building with Art Nouveau façade.
Ten stunning stained-glass windows, built in copper frame, presenting naturalistic themes, are work of Jacques Gruber.

Vast space of 300m2 is lighted with three hundred light beaks and chandeliers.
Most of the furniture is done in solid mahogany, imported from Cuba.

It has been proclaimed as a Historical Building.
All recipes are home made, from Strasburg Sauerkraut and Charolais beef tartar to Griddled Salmon.

If you decide to spend New Year’s Eve in L’Excelsior, the best way is to start with their specialty - Traditional smoked Norwegian Salmon, warm blinis and cream.
We warmly recommend that you don’t leave dinner without dessert and try Grand Vintage Valrhona chocolate and praline layered cake, pear in caramel scented with tonka bean.
